Brisbane Chinese Language School (BCLS) is a non-profit community school specializing in Chinese language studies. In 2010, BCLS was officially recognised by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the Peoples Republic of China as a model Chinese language school.
All BCLS teachers possess professional qualifications in Education. Fully committed to their profession and to their students, they regularly participate in specialized courses and training sessions in both China and Australia as a way of enriching their teaching practices. This allows them to teach in a way that blends Chinese and Australian methodology based on the different learning styles and cultural backgrounds of the students. Modern facilities, such as the use of multi-media, help to improve teaching with highly satisfactory results.
At the same time, we are greatly encouraged by all the parents who support her approach to teaching, and assist the school through volunteer work.
BLCS offers a vast range of classes including Mandarin Classes(3-5 years, Pinyin, Years 1-12, Adult, OP Classes), Art Classes, Chess, Computer Graphic Design, Math, English, Martial Arts, Tennis,Yoga,Dancing and Harp Classes. The School’s objective is to blend the best elements of Australian and Chinese culture, and to do its best in promoting the teaching of Chinese in order to make the school the very best Chinese school in Brisbane.
